Watch Servicing

Whether you just need a replacement battery for your watch or a full service and overhaul we can help.

Increasingly in this day and age most modern watches need to be returned to the appointed service centre for repairs and we would certainly recommend that customers do this to ensure that their watch is maintained to the manufacturer’s original specification and certainly if the watch is less than 5 years old.   We send all our watch repairs to highly regarded Trade Horologists who are able to service Swatch Group timepieces (Omega, Tissot, Longines etc).

We would be happy to discuss your requirements and can arrange for formal quotations in all cases.  We charge a £65 deposit for all watches left for a service to cover our administration costs and our watchmaker’s time in preparing a quotation.  This is deducted from the final bill on completion of the service; if you decide not to proceed with a service having requested a formal quote then this charge is not refunded.

We are also able to service most vintage watches (depending on the availability of replacement parts) – again, contact us directly and we can discuss your needs.

Minor Repairs

We fit watch batteries to most watches and currently offer a ‘same day’ service.  Every day we see large numbers of watches requiring replacement watch batteries and the only way we can manage such numbers is to attend to these ‘batches’ twice daily.  For this reason, we regret that we can no longer offer a ‘while-you-wait’ service.

Need a watch strap?  No problem.  We stock a very large range of  leather watch straps by Hirsch and a replacement can be fitted to your watch in minutes.  We are also happy to undertake watch bracelet alterations.
